Available through Copart’s Denver location, this 2003 Porsche Boxster will be sold, via Copart live vehicle auction on Tuesday October 17th, 2017.

1The Porsche Boxster is often considered the car that saved Porsche in the late 1990s. At the time, Porsche was struggling financially and needed a savior. Introduce the Boxster, a mid-engined, 2-seat roadster. The name, Boxster comes from the car’s engine, a boxer 6 cylinder, and roadster, the type of car it is. First shown to the public at the 1993 North American International Auto Show as a concept, the Boxster began testing shortly after. By 1995, the Boxster began production as a 1996 model. Featuring a mid-engine design, the Boxster provides drivers with a low center of gravity, near perfect weight distribution, and neutral handling. However, the engine had several failures. This was fixed in 1999, with a minor redesign and a better casting process. The Boxster is still produced today along with the Porsche Cayman, a coupe version of the Boxster.
