Copart’s Favorite Cars

Posted by

We’ve seen some amazing vehicles at Copart throughout the years including sports cars, rare vehicles and limited editions. Even though they might not all be in pristine condition, it’s extremely fulfilling to see these vehicles get connected with new owners and passionate auto enthusiasts who repair them, modify them or give them another purpose. In this blog series, we’re mentioning some of our favorites.

Ruby the Racing Car

One of our favorite cars this year has been a 1959 Porsche 356 Carrera GT Coupe with the nickname Ruby. This car was a pleasant surprise—we knew it was a car shown in various car shows around the world, but what we didn’t know was that it was entered in the 1959 Tour de France and won fourth place overall (first in its class).

One of the First 2020 Corvettes Manufactured

This 2020 Chevrolet Corvette was apparently one of the first ever manufactured because of its manufactured date of January 2020, putting it right in the premier group. It’s unfortunate that it has front end damage, but due to the engine’s unique location, it’s possible that its 6.2-liter V8 engine is still intact.
